Please be aware that this coverage is not a general health insurance policy, but an interim, limited benefit period, travel medical program intended for use while traveling 100 miles or more away from your home.

While traveling, it is your responsibility to maintain all records regarding travel history, age, and provide necessary documents to Seven Corners to verify your eligibility for coverage.

How Does DOGTAG Work? If your home country health insurance plan pays for your injury, DOGTAG will pay after your home country health insurance plan pays. If your home country insurance plan has a deductible, DOGTAG will pay that deductible. Also, DOGTAG will pay if your home country plan does not cover your sport or if your home country plan will not cover you when you travel abroad.   

State & Country Restrictions:

DOGTAG is not available for purchase in

  • these states:  Maryland, Washington, South Dakota, or New York;
  • these countries:  Australia, Canada, Switzerland, Iran, Syria, U.S. Virgin Islands  

DOGTAG cannot cover travel to Islamic Republic of Iran and Syrian Arab Republic.

Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act:

THIS IS NOT QUALIFYING HEALTH COVERAGE (“MINIMUM ESSENTIAL COVERAGE”) THAT SATISFIES THE HEALTH CARE COVERAGE REQUIREMENT OF THE AFFORDABLE CARE ACT. IF YOU DON’T HAVE MINIMUM ESSENTIAL COVERAGE, YOU MAY OWE AN ADDITIONAL PAYMENT WITH YOUR TAXES.

Certain Underwriters at Lloyd’s of London operates as an approved surplus lines market in the United States. The plan cost includes a trust fee.
